What Would I Achieve on a WriteAway weekend?
The aim of a WriteAway weekend is for each participant to achieve their personal writing goals, whether that’s to get into print or simply to write more effectively for themselves and those close to them.

Dea Birkett’s Travel Writing Workshops have an astounding success rate in getting unpublished writers into print. Many workshop participants break into books, magazines and newspaper feature writing after completing a course. To see their successes go to www.travelworkshops.co.uk

Participants with some experience of travel writing find that it helps them to hone their skills, target the sort of writer they’d like to become, and increase their ability to get into print.
You will also have huge fun with a group of like-minded people. We like to call it ‘fun with a purpose’ – enjoying ourselves and reaching our writing goals at the same time. By the end of the weekend, participants feel they have taken a significant personal step.
We are very proud of our past participants and their impressive achievements.
